A special Pokémon-inspired art collection, Pokémon × Kogei, is set to open this summer in Los Angeles. The collaboration between The Pokémon Company and LA’s Japan House brings together 20 talented artists who have crafted over 70 pieces of art in various mediums such as lacquer, ceramics, textiles, metalwork, and more. This exhibition offers a fresh perspective on the beloved pocket monsters, showcasing the art of craftsmanship rather than traditional drawings and paintings.

The collection is divided into three sections, featuring diverse Pokémon-themed artwork. The “Stories” section focuses on Pikachu, with the centerpiece being the enchanting “Pikachu Forest” installation. The “Appearance” section explores Eevee and its evolutions, including Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon. The final section, “Life,” presents a mix of different Pokémon creations, demonstrating the artists’ creativity and skill.

The exhibition will run for five months, from July 25 to January, at Japan House in Los Angeles. It offers free admission and is open seven days a week, providing ample opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Pokémon-inspired art.
